Testing my patience and focus, in the run-up to my surgery in May 2025, I created this piece on handmade paper. The repetitive process required deep concentration and restraint; it kept me calm. With each stroke, the composition gradually came to life, with the colours around the edges reflecting hope and renewal. An unintended reflection of a year shaped by endurance.
