Timelines vary with size and complexity. Most commissioned artworks take between 2 and 6 weeks, covering development, refinement and completion, and we confirm the timeline with you once the brief is clear. Whatever you already know: the size you have in mind, the medium or surface, a theme, a story or an emotion you want the piece to carry, the colours you are drawn to, and when you would like to receive it. Gajamukha Leela began as a memory of three Ganeshas given as a childhood housewarming gift; a piece made for a home in Bombay grew out of the memory of a lehenga and the rhythm of the wall it now hangs on; another was a mosaic of Ganeshas for a home in London, carrying luck, protection and new beginnings. Yes. One past commission was a trio of Ganeshas for three children, each reflecting a path uniquely their own. Sets and multi-panel pieces work well where a wall is large or where the gift is meant to be shared out.

Size, medium and surface are all part of the brief. The work extends beyond paper and canvas onto ceramic, wood and textile surfaces, so a commission is not limited to a framed picture. Practical constraints matter too — tell us about the wall, the lift and the doorway before we settle on a size.

Pricing depends on size, complexity and materials, and a quote is shared once the initial requirements are understood. There is no fixed price list for bespoke work, because no two briefs are the same.

Yes. Completed artworks are carefully packed and shipped from our Singapore studio, to Singapore, India, Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. Duties and import taxes are the recipient's responsibility — see Shipping & Delivery for costs and timelines.

Yes. Like every original artwork, a commission carries an A7 certificate of authenticity attached to the back of the frame and signed by Preetie, recording the story behind the piece, the year it was made, its price, the framed dimensions, and the artist's name and signature.

No. Bespoke, commissioned and customised pieces cannot be returned or exchanged, because each one is made to your brief and exists only for you — which is why the conversation and the sketch stage matter. If a commission arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, that is different: contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we handle it under the Returns & Refund Policy.
