Size: 44 x 36cm
Medium: Hand-made Paper
Gajamukha Leela is an original, hand-drawn artwork by Singapore artist Preetie Kohli, worked in ink on handmade paper and part of the Tangled Blessings collection. It measures 44 × 36cm and arrives framed in wood behind glass, ready to hang. It is one of a kind — the piece you receive is the original, not a print.
Inspired by a childhood memory — a set of three Ganeshas gifted to us in the 1990s in Bombay as a housewarming present. Though the originals were misplaced over time, their presence stayed with me. Here, I recreate them from memory, guided by feeling rather than form. There are a million ways to depict Lord Ganesha. I am fascinated by the single stroke that can symbolise Him — it could be His trunk, or His ear that looks like an OM.

Details & Care
Size: 44 x 36cm
Medium: Hand-made Paper
Care Instructions: This piece is drawn directly onto paper, so it's more sensitive to light and moisture than our ceramic or canvas pieces. Keep it away from direct sunlight and humidity, both of which affect paper and ink over time. Avoid touching the surface directly, as oils from hands can leave marks. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth or brush if needed.
