Size: 40 x 46cm
Medium: Ink on Handmade Paper
Vighnaharta is an original, hand-drawn artwork by Singapore artist Preetie Kohli, worked in ink on handmade paper and part of the Tangled Blessings collection. It measures 40 × 46cm and arrives framed in wood behind glass, ready to hang. It is one of a kind — the piece you receive is the original, not a print.
While planning for the festival season, I experimented with brighter crimsons and burnt oranges for the first time — then found I needed muted tones for contrast. That's where the layered tiles came in: only one is fully visible, but the pattern suggests four resting beneath Lord Ganesha, shading tangles within tangles. Ink on layered colour, fine-line tangles, modern frame — a new piece unfolding, with depth in every layer.

Details & Care

Medium: Ink on Handmade Paper
Care Instructions: This piece is drawn directly onto paper, so it's more sensitive to light and moisture than our ceramic or canvas pieces. Keep it away from direct sunlight and humidity, both of which affect paper and ink over time. Avoid touching the surface directly, as oils from hands can leave marks. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth or brush if needed.
